Enjoyed meeting Jenni Pulos, star of Bravo’s Flipping Out with Jeff Lewis on set of the Better Show (Airs: 3/17-Check listings. NYC on Hallmark.) Jenni has a new book, Grin and Bear It: How to Be Happy No Matter What Reality Throws Your Way on how to survive (and thrive) any situation. Jenni’s been dumped by her spouse on TV, told she’d never make it in Hollywood, and encouraged by her family with: “when are you getting a real job?” She showed them! My takeaway: don’t let failure get you down. Grin, Bear it and fail forward. It’s a secret successful people know well.
Gossip! – Bruce in NY Post
Thanks Richard Johnson! By the way, Estelle likes cappuccino, and I hereby declare I’ll bring her one everyday on set when this movie gets made! Estelle deserves another Academy Award! Catch her starring opposite two-time Tony winner Stephen Spinella in The Velocity of Autumn, coming to the Boothe Theatre in April. It’s gotten raves in its run at the Arena Stage in D.C. Estelle plays a 79-year-old woman living in her Brooklyn brownstone with bad memory and enough explosives to take down most of the block. Her long-absent son enters as an unlikely mediator on how she should spend old age and hilarity begins…
Gossip! – NY Confidenti@l
Gossip presented without comment. Okay, one: “Different roads sometimes lead to the same castle.” (From Game of Thrones) Let me also say if you’ve ever loved, you MUST take the time to read 93-year-old Roger Angell’s piece in the New Yorker. You’ll thank me. You’ll also probably take the time to listen to the next elderly person you’re in the room with… And if you’re in a couple, you’ll definitely get into bed tonight and appreciate the sweet warmth of a hip or the gentle brush of a foot beneath the covers. Just knowing they are there.

Talking About My Friends
Meet the Mikearoon, delicious brainchild of my British pal Chef Michael Ian Hales. I met Michael vacationing in Greece. He’s adorable and his handmade Mikearoons are unbelievably delicious. At left, my Tutti Fruity collection, a rainbow of flavors: licorice, strawberry, pistachio, cotton candy, lemon, orange, blueberry & popcorn. There are lots of flavors and designs, as well as color themed for weddings. If you want something unique for Valentine’s, he makes heart shaped and personalized. Best part: all his Mikearoons are Gluten Free and with discount code: “Bruce” they are also 10% off!

DID YOU KNOW? Aluminum foil can take the place of a dryer sheet and will eliminate static in your clothes. It can also be crumpled up and used as a scrubber for pots and pans!
QUESTION OF THE DAY asked by my pal Pam: “A woman in my office talks on her cell in the bathroom. It drives me nuts and grosses me out. Should I tell her to knock it off?”
My advice: “If someone wants to have the ambient flatulence and flush, that’s her dirty business. Just do your business and move along.”
And those are your life doctor’s orders!
