Last night as I came in from beach party weekend, I ran into two young ladies in the elevator who nervously announced: “Tomorrow is our first day of high school.” The only appropriate response: “Have you picked out your outfit?” They were headed to do that “RIGHT NOW!” Picking out the first day of school outfit was always more important than knowledge! But my quick elevator advice was: “Wear whatever makes you feel the most YOU!” Now in the age of YouTube and Twitter, kids have a unique option. They can try on their options and let the public vote.
