Today, I’ve spotted some daffodils peeking their green heads from the ground, emerging from their winter sleep. Those little things are a sign: GARAGE SALE SEASON approaches. Here’s my Today Show appearance to help you early birds plan ahead to get the best worm$. What in your house that needs to go garage sale. Me first: I’ve got an old Victrola that I’ve been harboring… I’m never going to do it justice, so I’ll be dragging it to the lawn during high season.

Your TODAY show spot on how to run a successful garage sale was wonderful. The only thing you didn’t say is how easy it is to get caught up in the euphoria of a good one. I remember the group sale I was part of years ago when one of us got so excited she joked that she was close to putting her baby up for sale!

What I have decided to give up to a garage sale is my very first car. It is an old Little Tike that has gone through so much, from being run down a hill, a planter box, and my kids favorite toy. However, it is still very new looking surprisingly enough. So I have decided that this should be THE item I put up for sale this garage season.
