I worked with Emmy winning TV host Rita Cosby on the bestselling book Quiet Hero, which chronicles her fascinating discovery that her father (at left with me) was a Polish resistance fighter and Nazi prisoner of war saved by American troops. Sunday, February 10 6:30 pm, Rita will be featured speaker at the (free!) Sunday Supper Lecture series sponsored by the KJ Men’s Club (Heyman Auditorium, 125 E. 85th St.) Rita is a dynamo, an amazing speaker, and hosts The Rita Cosby Show on WOR AM 710 in NYC weekdays 4-6 pm. (Oh, and I’ll be on the radio with her Monday at 5:50 pm discussing the Grammys. Listen live! Who knows what I’ll say about CBS’s “puffy memo?”)
