History of Fun – Obscure English words

What I’m loving right now: Heather Carreiro’s list of twenty old English words that should make a comeback. When was the last time you heard someone say “jargogle”? Probably around 1692, when John Locke last used it to describe something confusing or jumbled. And also “freck”. As in, “I was just frecking through the grocery store, trying to find the eggnog!” Not only are all these words ridiculously fun to say, you might teach somebody something new today.
