What's Your Function?
was created by David McCall, who noticed his kids had a much easier time remembering the lyrics to rock songs than they did keeping track of times tables. The first song, “Three Is a Magic Number,” was written by Bob Dorough, a jazz musician and artist Tom Yohe did the animations. The songs and the short animations were a hugely popular moment in my childhood Saturday morning TV watching schedule.
Conjunction Junction is a great piece of vintage TV, but the lessons are still valuable and fun today.
