I’ve had amazing fun and great success decorating in vintage garage sale finds. Gorgeous, inexpensive, and easy. It’s imperfectly perfect. Cheap chic. With every new purchase, I’m buying things that make me happy and make my home feel comfortable. There’s no “get your feet off that coffee table” in my house as it was in my father’s. My coffee table is a 1904 Lipton Coffee shipping box I got for five dollars from the basement of an estate sale and you’re welcome to put your feet on it. I have it filled with toys and party games so when kids come over (or my cocktail friends) I can quickly lay my hands on some fun. What are your best “cheap chic” tips?
