After the success of Betty White on SNL, there’s already a Facebook page called “Carol Burnett to Host SNL (PLEASE?)!” Its creator says that the divine Carol Burnett (one of my all-time favs) “would be an OUTSTANDING choice to host ‘SNL,’ ” adding, “Icing on the cake would be a cameo appearance by TIM CONWAY!” As of this moment, more than 34,000 fans (including me!) have signed the agreement.
But woe is us: the “SNL” season finale, hosted by Alec Baldwin, is on this Saturday, so this just gives me an excuse to post her classic, Went With the Wind. Enjoy!
