Dinner Party Talk – Cholesterol

Heart disease is America’s leading cause of death. Butter, cheese, ice cream, French fries (the good things in life) are cloggers and clogged arteries = heart attack! Both my granddads had heart attacks, so I’m trying to lower my risk. Recently at dinner, my former building super Manuel and his wife gave me the Guatemalan secret for lower cholesterol: a tablespoon of uncooked oatmeal in a glass of water, cover overnight, drink it first thing every morning. I’ve been trying it. So far, no heart attack! I’ll keep you posted.
